If a man is standing in the middle of the forest speaking and there is no woman around to hear him - is he still wrong?

No, men are always right smile

Therefore it's the woman, in calling him wrong when he's right, who's in the wrong.

Which proves the man right.

QED.

You then go nearly as fast as a 335D (mapped)

Here's another that's bugging me (god the Rum & coke is taking effect) ......

Why do men refuse to stop and ask for directions, and women refuse to learn how to read maps?

I won't stop and ask for directions because I know very well that if I do I won't understand what the person tells me. Their idea of what is a landmark or notable feature to use as a reference point is invariably something that I don't even see. They say things like "second left" when they actually mean "third left" because if you have local knowledge you don't consider the real second left as an option. They describe things as seen from the point of view of a pedestrian which doesn't work if you're driving. They say "turn down so-and-so street" which town planners everywhere have rendered futile as a direction by using the usual st signs in the usual stupid places that make it impossible to see the bloody street names unless you're on foot. Their descriptions of any junction more complex than a simple T bear no relation to the actuality of it which has results like getting in the wrong lane and being forced to take the wrong exit because by the time it's noticeable that it's the wrong one it's too late to do anything about it. Even if I can persuade them to draw a map they put stuff on it which doesn't exist and leave off stuff which does and label it in an illegible scrawl so the result is a waste of time. It's simply easier to find my way by my own resources, and being a pigeon I generally tend to manage it.

Wish I had smile It's like that everywhere. It's not local yokelism, it's people who don't know how to communicate with pigeons.

The lights come on like they would any other time. It's all relative.
