Hi folks, I'm going to be spending alot of time in and around europe (mostly france, the alpes and holland/belgium) and I need to be able to have regular net access for business from my lap top.

Is there a company that does a dongle/usb/card that will work with my sony viao and not cost the earth to use?

Many thanks

3 broadband can be used abroad as part of the inclusive minutes in any country with a 3 network, there's a list on their website. Unless it is much faster abroard than in Ely be prepared for some long slow connections...

Not sure that you can get one dongle that covers all european countries without costing you an absolute fortune.

We run a business in France but quite a lot of our time is away from the office so have a French dongle.

We return to the UK frequently too, so have a UK dongle.

We've been told by both suppliers for crisssake don't use one in the others country!!

If you get a UK dongle get it unlocked - I think these guys do it http://www.fonedoctors.com/

Then buy a prepay data SIM at your destination country
