I'm after having something weighing no more than 400 kilos and no more than the size of 2 pallets transported from southern germany to England.

Does anyone know the best way to do this?

I was going to hire a van for 2 days and then do the total 1600mile trip but wondered if there was a cheaper way?

I'm thinking to drive it would cost around 500 including fuel, ferry, van hire.

look at shipping companies, couriers and the possibility of getting a backload from Germany there is a chance an empty lorry will be coming back depends on how desperately you need that package

It's ok, the Howitzer fits into the sub whistle

I shall ask my old dear about any shipping companies as she deals with them a lot.

Sod that, hire a sprinter, take it to the 'ring for the afternoon and then go get your package, perfect excuse for a Euro hoon!
