Going to work on Sunday morning at about 5:30am, going over the bridge at Brandy Wharf I see a T5 ambulance car surrounded by approximately 15 stereotypical chavs, track suits, carling cans etc...

Anyways, this was the reason for it!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/lincolnshire/75...

It appears that a 19yr old lad tried to kill a 15yr old girl by setting her alight.

Flaming heck and all that...

Shocking.

It doesn't say he set her alight. Just says burns to upper body and face. Could be acid, perhaps? How would you set someone alight in a busy place?

Pour petrol on them and chuck them a match!!! However im sure they would have to be keen on this as Im not sure I would stand around if someone threw petrol on me!

Interesting that it is attempted murder and not something like ABH. Does that mean the police have evidence that it was planned?

I suppose you don't accidentally set people alight, however...

I think being burned to death must be one of the worst ways to die.

Doesn't have to be premeditated to be (attempted) murder.
