Discussion
Just called me for a phone interview for a role with a certain tyre company, I gave her a bit of time (as I already have a good job) then she went on to ask me guff like:
"what is my understanding of business to business sales", "what attracted me to the job" blah. soudned like rubbish I cant even remember applying for the job.
any others here have dealings with them/work for them?!

I dealt with Pareto Law about 7 years ago when I first graduated."what is my understanding of business to business sales", "what attracted me to the job" blah. soudned like rubbish I cant even remember applying for the job.

I went to their graduate recruitment day and was selected by them to be put forward to their clients, TBF they were quite rigerous in who they selected but at the time mainly seemed to deal in the IT markets.
They found what seemed to be the ideal job for me with a big company in Manchester, turned out they mis-sold it to me.
I was promised a company car, lap top, field sales etc.
All I got was telesales stuck behind a desk in a Manchester office cold calling!
Not impressed, I left after 4 months, at which point Pareto turned out to be ass holes and turned their back on me. Nice.
Take your chance!

They rang me once and started out by saying that as I had obviously heard of them - errr no, I've never heard of you. It was very difficult to actually get a definitve answer as to who they were, what they did and why they were ringing me.
Didn't go too well as it turned out he was trying to get us to use them for recruitment.

I was originally intending to attend one of their selection procedures this week, but have had to cancel due to a family issue. Interesting to hear others experience.
Unfortunatly many of the 'graduate recruitment agencies' I have been speaking to seem to think that standing in the local shopping center with a clipboard asking people if they are happy with their current energy supplier is 'an exciting step into the high profile world of media and public relations'. I, on the other hand, do not. They also get a bit shirty when they find out that I a) am not in my early 20's and b) have a family.
I was hoping (and was assured) that Pareto Law were different.
