i used to live in Spånga just outside of Vällingby when i was a kid. Wasn't that bad at all, barring all the drunks queuing up outside the System Boulaget (or however you spell it) the state off licence. Jebus just relaised that was 19 years ago, i guess things may have changed a little bit since then. Must go back some time.

It depends on what you are looking for.
If its cheap beer ang mingers, head to Södermalm, the whole island is packed with unfit girls and other questionably arty farty people.
If you want fit girls I'd head for Stureplan, depending on where you go and how you look, it could be difficult getting into the clubs though... Try Cafe Opera or Sturecompagniet, they are both huge places which tends to let more people in...
Comparing to anywhere in UK apart from a few square kilometers of central London there is gonna be more fit people there than the whole Island you live on...

Yep. Went to a couple of great clubs there last Winter. And the womenfolk are just fabulous.It's a great city to explore in the daytime, too. I'd recommend a trip to the Vasa museum, which houses the ship that was the pride of the Swedish navy in the 17th century. It sank on its maiden voyage - still in the harbour(!) - because they hadn't put enough ballast in the hull and the first time it unfurled its sails it fell over. The entire ship was pulled out of the water in the '60s and a huge 6 or 7 floor museum built around it. Truly fascinating.
