Pllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee can someone invent these!?

I want Sennheiser CX300 size earphones without the fking wires.

We can put men on the moon (or a soundstage in Arizona), we can make aeroplanes take off from conveyor belts, we can train monkeys to sing and sit on stools (Westlife) so WHY CAN'T WE HAVE WIRELESS IN-EAR EARPHONES!!!!!!

Screw MMGW, world peace, poverty and disease, I WANT WIRELESS IN-EAR EARPHONES AND I WANT THEM NOW!!!!!

The next time I trap the wire and the earphone pulls out of my ear and drops in my cup of tea I'm going to get out there and kick someones arse. I'm sick of it! You hear me?!?!

4/10. Nowhere near enough swearing, and I really didn't believe in the anger.

(However, I agree, having snapped the wire on my own Sennheisers last week.)

Powered by head movement, only viable when listening to Motorhead....

Invent tiny batteries to power them.

It was less a rant and more a genuine plea to the Sennheiser engineers who are bound to be members of PH to "sort it out"

But a normal battery in your pocket and run a wire to it from each earphone, sorted!

Cheers for the suggestions but all current ones (I've seen) are waaaay too big. I want in ear ones, literally identical to the CX300 size wise but without the wire.

The wire gets trapped absolutely every-fking-where; when I'm in the gym, in the car, on zips, in between the elbow, caught in clothing. Honestly, it's driving me up the fking wall.

I'd say those are at least 10 years away, sorry. The power is the problem, what's needed is a wave-transmissible power source.

I'd rather have wires than bricks hanging out of my ears.

What's wrong with wires anyway? (except on Sennys as mine has also broke recently)

Sound quality would be hugely deminished via wireless...

Not a fan.

Too big....but getting there. Ta.

As for being 10 years off and the need for a powery wavey transmittery thingy...just invent it...in fact you've given it a name already so you're half way there!

ETA What's wrong with wires?!?!

On a similar note - Would someone please invent some headphones where the wires are detachable from the headset? Maybe the wires could plug into the headset using small jack plugs. That way when the wire is knackered I can replace just the wire, rather than having to buy a whole new pair of headphones.

Most Sennheiser cans are like that
