How the hell do you raise the wick? I think I might have wound it the wrong way and now its dissapeared into the fuel tank. Surely this is an easy job? Help! How do I get it out of there???

No idea what one is but the usual set-up with storm lanterns is to pull the burner unit off the tank, fish around in the resultant hole (the use of an open flame is probably best avoided here) and extract wick. Feed into bottom of burner until sufficient wick is exposed, replace burner unit in hole.
