Has anyone got this plastic model kit from Haynes?

Is it good quality and does it work. I've seen a poor review on amazon.co.uk but wanted to get others opinions before splashing out for one.

Bought it for my son last year, its a bit tricky to assemble and not that impressive when working, BUT it's pretty well designed and for the price (£20?) worth the cost as an xmas stocking filler etc.

Do they do a V8?

Or perhaps a diesel with added tractor sounds?

There's quite a few out there:

Worth googling review of them; some are pretty elderly kits and a bit feeble.

My nephew received one last year as a Christmas present. I can't say I was that impressed with it, tbh. Even when assembled correctly the electric motor was wired the wrong way around and the engine "ran" in reverse.

I think they're great for £20.
