On my Freeview box, why have BBC1 etc. moved?

Hi all,

The other day I retuned my freeview box and bbc1, 2, 3, 4, itv and ch4 have all disappeared from their usual positions and are up in the hundreds...

Anyone know why - I wondered if it was a temporary blip, but resetting box, retuning etc doesn't fix it - it's been like it for a week now and it's a bit of a pain.

When I tune it as it finds the channels I noticed that it assigns a number of the 'missing' channels to position 0.

Anyone else had this?

You may find some help here http://www.dtg.org.uk/retailer/download_schedule.p... The company who regulate the transmissions have been changing a lot of the software. This site gives you the dates it has or will happen. Also you should try the help desk or web site of the company who made or sold you the box.

I have the same problem with my Echostar receiver.

Looks like I will have to either get use to it or get a new STB.
