I am just about to put a new bathroom in and toying with the idea of fitting a small ish TV. Any one else done this? Any pics or advice?

I am going to have to box it in as the wall it needs to go on is an outside (solid) wall.

Cheers

Just balance a portable set on the edge of the bath. Much easier and cheaper.

Or get a marine display unit which is a flat screen, will cost you a few k but better than a LCD or Plasma behind some scratchable screen.

With the added bonus if you want to bump off the other half to collect on the insurance, it's easy........

Of course, the bad news is, if the other half wants to bump you off.......

If you get the angle on the bedroom mirror right - saves you alot of hassle and you can still watch pron in the bath.

Balance a small portable tv on one of those swimming flotation devices... run the electrics off an extension lead.

Try not to make waves.

I bought a cheap 15" LCD TV and mounted it on the wall at the far end of the bath (ie away from the shower). The leads run straight out through the (outside) wall behind and then up into the roof space. It's 12V so no danger of electrocution; all you have to be careful of is getting water in the remote control.

It is VERY nice to be able to soak in the bath and watch TV!
