Anyone else with Virgin have calls on their itemised bill they haven't made? Now like probably 95% of people here i never bother to look at the itemised part of the bill, but as i've just got a V+ box i found myself looking at the bill for whatever reason.Calls were made to Ireland?.One for 20 minutes, then one curiously an hour later for the same amount of time?An interesting call ensued to Virgin querying these calls.I get all the usual questions,is there anyone else in the house,do you have relatives there? etc. When i answered no to all these she told me they would get an engineer round to test the line, now the interesting bit. They told me if they find the calls were made from my house they would charge me £75?,would i want to do this?Thinking this would obviously put me off i said yes, send them round!Suddenly oh,since you're so positive you didn't make the calls we will refund you!!!This £75 trick must save them a fortune, especially since this has happened to me before(calls to Ghana?)and probably to a few others, anyone here have calls on their bill they don't recognise? Its worth checking your bill now and again!

Interesting. Yes - people probably don't bother to look at their bill, but the question is, do they tap the line to do this? How can it be done? At exchange level, or at a house level...

Hmm...
