Two sky boxes using one dish
Discussion
No you have to have a Multiroom subscription and have both boxes permanently connected to a phone line so they can make sure you're not using the second card at a different location. You could alternatively get a free-to-air card and use it in a second box, in which case you would just need an LNB with at least 2 outputs (4 is normal though) and you won't get any of the Sky channels, just the free stuff.

One box is paired to one card.
Since when? I've used my card in four different sky boxes. First box broke and I was given another off a friend. I've taken my card to another friends house and used it there as they had the basic subscription. Used it at a holiday cottage I rented out and it works in both my sky boxes at home.
All I did was fit a twin LNB and run the cables to the boxes, if I want to watch it upstairs I just take the card up.
