BA and Virgin Class Action lawsuit Fuel Surcharge

Anyone else get Class Action lawsuit claim forms in the post today? I did not know anything about this, Anyone know the details of what will get paid and when? Never done one of these before - any ideas if it will it effect my club membership?

Yep filled mine in online a few weeks ago.
The money is already set aside so won't affect your frequent flyer membership.
No idea when it will get paid though.

They're paying it out in batches apparently. Had the paperwork for a few weeks.
Really must get round to sending it off.

Not kept up with the news as I have been out of the country a lot, so are these
papers sent out automatically as I use BA and VS a lot and have had nothing so far?

What are the likely payouts? (all flights have been trans Atlantic)

They send them out automatically to anyone who qualifies.

You need to have bought a ticket between 11th August 2004 and 23rd March 2006. Date of travel is irrelevant, it's the purchase date that counts.

I am eagerly awaiting my cheque for just shy of £300 ( £10 per flight sector for a transatlantic..)

Filled my claim in online with specific flight details etc the day it went active, but still got the paper claim form sent in the mail automatically from when I had registered previously.

Thanks for that Roo, I definitely qualify with a good number of flights to the
USA in that period, maybe something will turn up in the post today.
