Anyone else heard anything about this?

I have an Arval issued "ALLSTAR" fuel card, and the local BP are saying that both BP and Shell are going to stop accepting them on Oct 31st?

Oh balls this better not be the case. BP is the only place I use mine (don't have a shell here).

Is there a list anywhere of who accepts them?

Has anyone else had an issue? We've just been issued with allstar cards and its a right ryoal Pain in the bottom if I'm going to have to start to hunt for a garage that will take them.

There was a notice in my local BP garage tonight stating that ARVAL (All Star) cards will no longer be accepted after 31/10/08.

A real pain as I have 2 BP garages close to me where I always fill up and collect Nectar points mad

Wouldn't this get more coverage in General Gassing? A sticky might also be appropriate.

Yep, this affects us to. We had notice about this last week. Although, it has been clarified that it only affect BP-owned garages and not franchise BP garages. Or that could be the other way around, can't remember. Either way it difficult to spot the difference. Not too bad for us due to the amount of Shell and Tesco's we have around here.

Article says it's 300 BP owned forecourts - shouldn't be too harsh unless it spreads

Panic over, they've agreed to keep taking them:
