For example today;

Breakfast: 9am 2 Wheatabix with a banana

Lunch: 2pm Tuna sandwich

Tea: 7pm Sausage Casserole

Thats it.

I don't have any other food at all, nothing during the day. I drink maybe 4 or 5 glasses of water a day and thats it, no tea or coffee . I have however been told that I am eating and drinking less than I should though, but I don't feel hungry really, when I do I have some water and don't feel hungry anymore. I would normally have had a chocolate bar, crisps etc and sugar with breakfast before the change of diet.

Been doing this for a week in an effort to lose some weight I'm 5'7 and 13 stone, got a little bit of a belly) I have only been to the gym once in the last week and didn't really do any cv and I've lost 2 or 3 lbs by just not snacking and replacing the sugar on breakfast with fruit. I don't feel any negative side effects, yet have been told I'm not eating enough?

Yeah I might put an apple or something in there, but if I'm not hungry I don't want to eat. I eat veg quite a lot.

Thats probably more than I eat smile

Yesterday I had:

Breakfast = nothing

1pm Cheese and pickle sandwich. An apple. Two yoghurts.

7:30pm Pasta

Thats it, and thats fairly normal for me. Nothing in-between apart from coffee - lots of it.

Swap the main meal to lunchtime (and a have sandwich or similar in the evening) and the excess weight will vanish. Forget about gyms and all that bks, walk an hour a day and you'll be fitter and healthier. It will be apparent remarkably quickly, too.

Well, that was wierd.

I read 'habbits' as 'rabbits', and was expecting a thread-opening post about how your Floppsie or Moppsie had developed a carrot allergy.

Imagine my initial confusion.

It's OK now though. Your diet is fine, if unimaginative. Your spelling needs work though...

Hell of a lot better than my diet, that's for sure!

I usualy have dinner and maybe a snack for lunch and that's it. Never feel hungry enough for more to be honest.

It doesn't sound bad. I guess I'd be tempted to drop the 'bix and keep the banana for breakfast, and maybe consider how much Mayo is in your Tuna sandwich. But, no, unless you ate a bucketfull of the sausage casserole, your diet seems pretty healthy.

ETA- just spotted the "for a week" bit. No healthy diet is going to change your weight that fast.

jesus. compare that to my diet!

breakfast - cool original doritos and 3 kinds of dip with a berocca
lunch - ceasar salad in a sandwich with tabasco
dinner - the above + a pork pie
supper - a few tins of carling

i would love to have such a diet!

Looks OK to me, depends though.

Tuna sarnie big, stuffed full of mayo or packed with salad?

Sausage casserole with lots of lardy sausage or packed with vege and lean saus?

Digger.

If you are cutting back would suggest you spread it out to 4 or 5 meals/snacks per day. Keeps metabolism running through the day rather than stop/start which may help should you get any hunger pangs and lapse to snacking between meals.

Chicken is something I'm very wary of. It gets pumped so full of crap to fatten it up and bloat it out so that it looks good and weighs more on the shelf. Its full of added ingredients, yet packaged as 100% natural produce. All of that rubbish ends up in your system. If its designed to fatten chickens, its not likely to have slimming effects on you.

I can say with all certainty that if you want to lose weight fast cut bacon right out of your diet. The difference is immediate and very noticeable. Again, any processed meats like ham should be avoided.

Depends if you want to get laid or not? With that diet you may have to resort to being gay hehe

I'm being facetious.
Seeing as I am a longtime vegetarian, eating organic produce only.
Longtime married too, so lots of getting laid.
Some here though, consider being vegetarian incompatible with being a Petrolhead.
Why?.
