What is this about? I clicked on the link earlier, nothing seemed to be happening, so I closed it down. Then the sound started working, but the only window I had up was pistonheads! Scared the crap out of me! A booming voice apparently coming from Pie & Piston!

These pictures are being streamed live from Denmark (first) via Mallin Cam/pc and the Internet. They hope to get a world wide program tonight linking Mallin Cam owners around the globe.

As you can hear this is TOTALLY amateur based via the yahoo live network so please cut them some slack as this is the first time this has been attempted.

The mallin cams are a colour ccd based video camera that can integrate or collect up to 56 seconds worth of photons at a time while outputting a constant video output.

To put this in perspective your own human optic system can store only 1.8 seconds worth and the ccd in the Malin cam is some 200 times more sensitive than eye. That's before it gets strapped to a 12" meade.
