Just received an email from abbey saying that they want me to log on to my account because they have errors Yadayadayada...
Yeah right!,
Like i'm not going to pass that straight on to Abbey tomorrow.
It looks alright but they emailed it to avery Ian ( surname ) they could think of.

These are quite common, known as 'phishing' emails in case you didn't know. I get them quite a bit, not just supposedely from banks but from other things like paypal and Western Union asking for various details. As already said you'd be daft to go and send off all your details like that including pin number, but people do fall for it

I get them all the time. Don't bother ringing Abbey either, they're not interested!
Yes, it would be more stupid of you to report it to Abbey than actually just deleting it. Thousands of these emails can come into spam mail in an office network each day..you ain't going to make a difference if you waste your time reporting it.Thanks guys
Won't be clicking any links either although i opened it. Don't suppose that matters now though. Should have bounced it, nevermind.
Won't waste my time trying to get this info through to some indian call center either.
Shame i'ts so much hassle to jump out of the catchnet otherwise this fish would have got away from Abbey a long time ago.

Banks don't email customers!
No point telling them, they won't care, not much they can do either!
You see, i understand this. But why oh why does natwest keep an additional screen when logging in, asking if they have a correct email address. No point telling them, they won't care, not much they can do either!
Surly they know by now people wont belive an email!

I just got one saying that I could grow a bigger penis than the one I already have and another saying that I could keep it erect all night.Yeah right!,

Like I am not going to forward it straight to my doctor tommorow (you do realise that emails are instantaneous thus you don't need to wait until tommorow for collection right?)
Has anyone else here ever had an email?
