Our SKY signal seems to pack up with the tiniest sprinkle of rain. Bloody thing has been like it for years but i swear it is getting worse.

Anyone else have this problem? In which case it might be time for cable. Or is ours setup wrong somehow?

Cant enjoy a TG repeat without a pause every 10 seconds or so, grrr!

cheers

Ours messes up in very heavy rain, but no more then once every couple of months at once.

I'd get yours looked at.

Sky in General is pretty crap, we have only got it as we cannot get freeview and channels 1-5 are generally pretty crap! Wish I could get Virgin again!

+1

Rare for rain to upset the signal unless it's coming down in stair rods.

Seems you all need your dish realigning or a bigger dish if you are far north.

Sky reception problems are generally down to position of dish, weather tends to affect mini dishes only,(60cm), 80 or 90cm dishes hold a steadier signal.
Freeview problems are caused by a lack of signal, you will nearly always need a dig aerial with proper double screened cable to stop noise, if you are in a bad reception area, you may need a longer mast and amplification, all fittings must be digitally screened.
