Why do women have to turn the heating RIGHT up as soon as September 1st comes round?

My phouse was like a fookin sauna last night.

My heating has been off since December. It seems all I need is my LCD TV upstairs to heat the room, and the PC downstairs to heat that. Far too much insulation, it's roasting in the summer, (Too much glass) so I have to wheel a portable A/C unit out or I'll die.

I'd like at 19.5c, but that'll never happen.

It's an old house with rattly sash windows. The average is probably about 20 degrees.

21 is average room temp I believe.

I keep my bedroom at 18 on a separate A/C unit.

Heating has been switched off for the past few months, and it's still plenty warm enough.

In the winter, I have it set to 20 degrees.

I don't need to turn my heating up when I read a sentence constructed and spelt like this. That is enough to send my temperature through the roof.

In winter, I have the thermostat at 21C in the living room, but the bedroom is usually about 17C which is perfect to sleep in.

In summer, it's hard to get the house below 24C, but with the air switched on in the bedroom, I can sometimes hit 19C which is nice smile

I think my dads thermostat has a setting called "f'king baltic" as everytime i go over there it is infact, f'king baltic, even in summer!
