Has anyone managed to bag themselves a 'cheap' last minute deal this year?

I'm looking to go away somehere 20/21st sept for a week (sunny, beach, nice town/restaurants, quiet resort and not full of chavs - if thats possible anymore when cheap?! had thought about the lakes, but really want a bit of sun)

Was going to wait up to the last minute to book, but doesnt seem to be many decent offers at the moment (everything looks normal price) anyone had any success?

Also, looking for some inspiration on where to go, as above really want cheap (less than 900 for 2 people, not egypt or tunisia)....any recommendations?

I'm off to Gran Canaria next week. Not specifically a bargain bucket type last minute thing. I'm just going.

LALALALALA I'm going on holiday lalalalalalalala......

I got £7k off two weeks in the Maldives at the beginning of October. It's still going to cost me two arms and two legs though.

I found an all inclusive holiday to Barcalona 3 star for a week - £308 (PP), this was on Teletext holidays...

I'll be watching this with interest as I am going away at the same time as you biggrin

We're off to our house in France tonight on the 11pm Portsmouth-Le Havre crossing.

Total cost of the trip = £220 for the ferry tongue out

That's quite a lot off. We've paid pretty much the same amount for our bleeding honeymoon.

It's more than we paid for our honeymoon eight years ago.
