Silver lining to property market slump

Joiner working at the house has just been to see his solicitor over his divorce. Looks like he is having to sell his house to pay off the ex.


But, his solicitors advised him to get it valued, knowing it won't sell quickly in the current market so that as prices fall he stands a chance of buying the ex out of her share and staying in the house at the new valuation.
