No thread on this? I thought it was rather good, sadly overshadowed by The Matrix but a much more solid concept. The bad guys are shooting puppies right now, so not expecting much longevity from them...

It is a good film. First time I saw it was a bit meh, just thought it was a bit of a Matrix rip off.

On second and third viewings I changed my mind. I think its right up there with The Matrix

Excellent film, good idea well executed and unfairly overlooked. Only downside is the end fight is too short.

It's crap, it rips off so many dystopian novels I lost count, and the "gun kata" st is completely unfeasible.

I liked it. Unfeasable, surely, but it was well done and was something new - the end fight particularly.

I thought the end fight was brave, The guy who was trying to take his job/position getting dispatched so quickly was jaw dropping

one of my fav films, meshes up loads of cool sci fi themes/ideas and it is an excellent looking movie - just wish it had had a Matrix budget for it:P

Oh it was a film. I only watched the first 20 mins and thought it was a Party Political Broadcast showing Labours view of the future under them.

I thought it was st. Badly rips off a variety of dystopian future sci fi and throws in some wanky 'gun fu' for good measure.

I went to see this at the cinema, completely random choice, unlimited cinema so thought I'd take a punt.

Was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. OK so it rips off the idea from 1984 but not so much that that's all it's about.

The gun kata scenes are awesome. Btw, the gun kata is completely unfeasible? Oh FFS. It's a film rolleyes
