After much research recently I have been exploring Alcoholic beverages, my findings are:

Cider makes me a happy/dancy drunk.
Sambucca's make me a quiet/slightly paranoid drunk.
JD and coke makes me very moody/verging on angry.

Quite odd really!

Dark spirits make me arsey - I used to love Southern Comfort however I always used to argue with my other half when pished on it - so she made me stop drinking it, and so I moved onto Gin.

Now she can't shut me up, the drunken happy bugger I am biggrin

Chivas Regal = 100Plus also has a strangely haluconagenic effect ...

(discovered under desperate measures ... entertaining results, if only remembered 3 days later)

Nice to see some proper research being done! To help in your quest, I'll add:

Champers makes me giggly
Red wine a more gently, calm kind of squiffy
Stella really is 'wife beater'
Real Ale makes me fart. Big time.

I haven't found that different alcohols give me a different feeling of being drunk, i may have to experiment with this.

Red Wine turns me into an angry, windmilling nutcase determined to kill anything and everything that crosses my path. Luckily it also makes me tired, so I usually only manage a few minutes of angryness before falling asleep on the sofa.

Stella doesn't tend to make me angry, Lager just makes me drunk, and often vomit!

Real ale gives me the toots thinking about it, and Guinness for that matter...

And wine/Champagne gives me the worst hangovers ever!

Try absinthe - that has some odd effects.

Beer, followed by champagne, red wine, sherry and single malt gives you a splitting hangover the next day wink

JD depresses me really badly depressed. Couple of doubles and I tend to think the world will end.
I like red wine, but I'm beginning to think it might do the same thing.
Drinks with sparklers or umbrellas tend to make me think I've accidentally walked into the wrong bar.
