Yeah, and I think it'll get cheaper yet as well.

No chance of fuel to drop in price tho'. As has been discussed here before, they've got us by the balls.

It is wrong and with the bunch of Eunuch's we have running this country, it is exaggerated. Its to good a backdoor tax earner while the price of fuel remains high. Couple that with the unequatable prices rises in Gas and Electric and the lack of backbone and the obvious, Gordon and his New Eunuch party have failed us by not imposing any form of restriction on what the power companies can do or even more amazingly forced some form of windfall tax.

Free market economy is one thing but free market profiterring on an essential is wrong.

Probably because the petrol that you bought was made from oil that cost $120 a barrel. There is lag in the system.

petrol went up here by a penny too. Funny how when prices drop it takes several weeks for us to see any, if any, change at the pumps but when the price of oil rises it shoots up immediately.

Now stop that nono this thread is for the paranoid and conspiracy theory obsessed among us, not those who have a grain of common sense. Go on off you go.

Now chaps, I heard that the oil companies are deliberately hiding all of the petrol under the ice caps to push prices upto £5 a litre, at which point they'll give it all to the Lizard men.

Sorry

Ab@, the lizard men saw you pull up at the pump and immediately upped the price due to the fact they don't like you. I suspect you'll also find that your paid for 30l, but in actual fact you only ever received 23l.

Crude price now back where it was in February 2008. How much were you paying for petrol back then? I know I can't remember!

its because the oil suppliers reduce production when the price per barrel drops, causing it to increase in price, then they increase production again to cash in.

Bunch of theiving twunts, Trading standards never heard of them......

What really get's me is why isn't it splashed all over the newspapers and television?? When the price was high it's all we heard now it's lowering not a mention, it obviously isn't a catastrophe anymore...

I think it was around £1 a litre back then, when I go out to the car I'll dig out some receipts.
