Harman today said:
The public are furious at the amount some people in the City are paid.

I think there is a level of outrage.

Complaints have been building up because the huge bonuses in the City have meant mad house prices in the centre of London, which has had a ripple effect outside.
Sort of from another thread, but worthy of dicussion.

It seems the Government have a plan to deflect blame for the recession. Apparently it's all City workers' fault.

Interesting analogy with Hitler and the Jews. The Jews blamed for all economic woes prior to the War.

Revolting tactics.

He's just jealous that you had lunch with Harman the other day to give her the benefit of your NASA/SAS experiences and Nobel prize.

It's standard Labout Party practice. Turn the country in to st and blame anyone and everyone else for it. They still harp on about problems "being the fault of the last Conservative Government", yet fail to realise that they've had 11+ years to sort it out but have spectacularly failed to do so.

They are the political equivalent of the Chav who, when caught red handed after commiting a crime, says "It wasn't me, I didn't do it!"

She's quite sexy, in a matronly kind of way. The only thing that puts me off is the sneaky suspicion that she has a big old wanger instead of a foo foo.

What a hateful and spineless cow....

Now, lets see how much she earns:

£130,000 basic Cabinet ministers salary
£20,000 expense account for spending on what you want
57p a mile travel allowance (for the first 20,000 miles)

And that is before she adds on any non-executive earnings.... though I have to say that the register of interest for MP's doesn't show anything against here. But still, the thick end of nearly £180,000 and she is complaining about people in the city earning about that!

Spiteful and hateful woman.

hehe When everything 'appeared' rosy in the garden, Labour and Brown in particular were crowing on about how it was down to their policies and Brown's prudence etc etc

Now its gone tits up, and the basis of that titted uppedness being firmly rooted in the very reasons for the rosiness in the garden in the first place, then Labour turn around and blame the City. hehe

Problem is though that the mug public will believe it on the basis that we're all fat cats.

+1 - I was just thinking the same - when money's being made, it's them that has "fixed" things - when it all goes horribly wrong, it's someone else's fault....

When was the last time any one heard a politician apologise or acknowledge blame?
