60 quid tax rebate

Am i right of understanding that a lot of folk (i have been told anyone with an L in there tax code) will be getting 60 notes extra in there wage slip this month?

What about the dole blaggers . . . are they just getting 60 quid extra handout so they don't feel left out?

you are correct. Due to the tax code change anyone with and L at the end pays around £60 less tax this month (if paid monthly).

we received it a couple of weeks ago, basically the tax code is changing to 603L from 540L (or whatever it was).

Funny thing is that my tax rebate was immediately put towards paying more tax (Road)
