I'm sure there must be some people in the know on here.

We're looking for one of the above, been looking at the likes of Kohler Daryl, Aqata & Makti. Something mid priced, walk in style, mated to a wetroom floor.

We're a little restricted due to the hugely awkward shape of our bathroom, but think we can get something to work along these lines. Will get a bathroom company to work the finer details out, but the question is will we go vasty wrong picking one of the above?

We don't want to throw stupid amounts of money at it, but then we want something better than the likes of what B&Q can offer if anyone can make any other suggestions?

If you are looking for quality & decent price - have you seen the Aqualux walkin yet?

I'll find a pic hang on....

I really rate this one, very simple sleek design - only trade off is the tray not being stone HOWEVER it is very slim (see pic) and not like those big deep placcy one from homebase. This tray is very thick and if you bed it in on top of a sand base it will be totally solid.

Also - you can buy it without the tray and fit it as a screen style true walkin.

Have you seen the Tatami and Bamboo system from Flaminia?
Impey U.K have some good screens, which you can pick and mix to go with their Aquadec wet room system, 8mm and 6mm glass. Try Kudos too. I think Aqata are good too with some different designs.

Out of the lot I would go for Aqata though as they offer products that amount to more than just a flat or arced glass panel and tie bar. They are generally good for bespoke and offer finishes other than your typical green tinged toughened glass. Cheap thin screens wobble like a fat bh -you need 8mm (or at least 6mm if curved). That 'clear' system they all use is a gimmick and can be added to just about any screen if you know how.

Steamer - i'm not a great fan of the curved glass, preferably something thats square edged would be better. Also how would that work on a true 'wetroom' floor with a slight gradient? Or is that taken into account?

Will have a look at the other options too, cheers!

You just order it without the tray and request a true wetroom fitting kit (ie no tray needed) - must admit I like flat glass better too, but I know these Aqualux units are a great option if you dont want to spend Matki money but still want quality.

Might be worth a look.

From experience, I recommend Roman shower enclosures http://www.roman-showers.com/ Stuart Turner pumps http://www.stuart-turner.co.uk/ and Hans Grohe fittings http://www.grohe.co.uk/
