Ok, so I ordered a load of cycling equipment on Tuesday including a bike pump (or 2 ), my tyres are flat-ish and I want to get out on my bike and go for a ride. The weather is perfect and I'm sat around waiting for the parcel to arrive and then think to myself "I wonder what the tracker says about it's status" so I get online and check:

WHAT THE?? No it hasn't had a fking 'attempted delivery', I've been in the flat all morning (it has one of those loud flat buzzers which wakes anyone in a 10 mile radius when pressed!!!), and I HAVE NO fkING DELIVERY CARD either The lazy st of a driver just couldn't be bothered to get his fat arse out the van and actually press the fking buzzer on the front of the door!!

Parcelforce are far and away the worst for this IMO. I had one recently, claiming 'attempted delivery - noone at home'. Well, I'd stayed in for the whole morning specifically to receive it. Kept the music low so I could hear the doorbell, had windows open which means I would definitely hear a van if one turned up, and nothing.... there were vans, but not parcelforce, no knocks, no rings, nothing. Lying tt monkey.

Another one, also this summer, reported as 'no-one at home - left with neighbour'. I was at home. He didn't leave a card to say it was with a nieghbour. I only found out that's what he had done by logging on and tracking. Had to phone to try and find out which neighbour. Their control centre rang the driver - and he couldn't remember which house he'd left it at!!!!!!!! Thank God for honest neighbours! What a total fknuckle.

I posted it back in Feb.... it went missing, got it back in July, it was broken.

Now end of September and i just received a cheque for compensation! 9 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Silly fk delivered it to the wrong road and tried arguing he didnt. Whilst I was in the centre arguing with the guy, an honest old fella brought in my phone.

What boiled my piss is that the guy wouldn't show me the singature due to data protection, even though he claimed I must of signed for it...

Somehow he hadn't noticed me standing in the doorway to the garage 5 foot away and made no attempt to knock. His excuse was... I't didnt look like anyone was here.

In my experience City Link are the worst for this; last Christmas I ended up at their depot, and there was a 3 hour queue of people trying to pick up their parcels. Wandering along the queue bored, probably 75% of them had recieved tickets to say there was an "attempted delivery" when they were actually at home waiting!!!!! When I finally got my parcel, it had been opened, and most of it was missing

I'd taken the day off just to be in when the parcel arrived, thought i'd tinker with the car out in the garage (right next to the house, big door open!), van pulls up, driver sits there writing and gets out and walks up with the 'you weren't in' card, he looked startled when i shouted out, quite abusively at him.
