We went over chrismas year before last and weather was good Tee shirt weather but not too hot. The theme parks were actually resonably quite so the kids got on the rides with max. about 15mins waiting. All in all good time to go but, they don't seem to celebrate christmas as much as we do. AND NO CRACKERS!!

We went out Christmas eve 1998 and lovely Delta Airlines managed to mislay mrsthewifes suitcase, Ok we got it back the next day (Christmas Day evening) but it had Christmas presents in it and important stuff . . . *apart* from that it was great. Lovely weather and after Christmas day it was back to business as usual. I think New Year is a more important date, than Christmas in the states.

We were in Florida (Sarasota) last Christmas. The weather was fine, high 70s low 80s most days and there is none of the fuss that seems to be associated with Christmas on this side of the atlantic. We are going back again this year, much less hassle and its much cheaper.

Absolutely brilliant. I used to live there and Christmas has never been the same since. The Americans really know how to do it. Some would say a bit OTT but i loved it. It snowed there for the first time since 1970 something but then i was up north in Lake City. If your thinking of going to the normal holiday places it wont be that cold as there much further south. Still not sunbathing weather. Highly recommended
