I Wouldnt normally ask a bunch of strangers for money, but its for a good cause, so here we go.

I'm taking part in the Great South Run (10 Miles) on October 26th in Southsea, Portsmouth.
I decided to try and raise some money for three young Brothers who I read about in the SUN Newspaper last year.
The 3 boys all suffer from an incurable brain disease that will Kill them.
Despite their plight, the boys and their Parents cope remarkably well, and never complain.
I have been speaking to their Parents and asked them for permission to run in the Boys' names, and they agreed.
The aim is to try and raise as much money and awareness for the disease as possible. ALL money raise will be given to the parents to use as they wish, Holiday, presents, whatever. Although they have expressed an interest in Visiting Disney World, and we have offered our Villa Free of Charge - perhaps money raised could go towards flights.
I wont go into too much detail about their disease, but you can read more about it on their website http://connorcallumandjack.com/
If anyone would like to sponsor me, let me know here, and I will set up a PayPal account to enable you to do it online.
I know things are tight at the moment, but to use an old cliche, every Penny helps.
Thanks for reading,

Hoppy

Hoppy- If a trip to Disneyland is their thing then have the parents got in touch with the Make A Wish Foundation?

I think that without a charity number you'll struggle to get anyone to sponsor you.

I'm not sure mate. I know the parents took the boys a few years ago off their own backs, and the kids enjoyed it. they may not want to go again.
Do people really think it would be a problem to raise money without a charity number?
I thought it would be much like when I used to knock the local doors as a kid, raising money for the "oldies" or such causes.
Cheers
