I had a brief look around and picked the cheapest - £300 (at that price range I knew I wouldn't be getting a great picture).

Looks pretty good considering the price - the dark contrast is a bit poor though.

Doesn't sound bad to me. It seems to sound better for music than dialogue but I don't really know anything about sound biggrin

26" LCD are a waste of time mate.

Cheaper to get a 32" and they'll take up not much more space.

You can get a decent non budget Bravia for 400, much like I did with 3 HDMI inputs from amazon wink

Samsungs LCDs are great, I bought a 26" model over a year ago for over £500. Amazon now has them at £341, also has 2x HDMI connections if thats important:

I bought a 32" LCD from http://www.ebuyer.com/

twas a hannspree. Pretty good quality overall, when doing HD stuff it's tough to tell the difference between mine and my mates Bravia. Worth a punt for the price, delivered next day.

Currently selling Samsung series 4 [ hd ready] at £360.00

We are a smaller retailer though so cant match Amazon. Good value for the bedroom. As a word try to avoid non branded or weird named products....

Short term gain...blah blah
