My boilers on the blink at work and it’s freezing – so fk it. I’m going on Holiday!

Never been Gran Canaria before and heard it warm this time of the year.

Any hotel recommendations where there is no screaming kids or pikeys?

the best island on the canaris is lanzarote, the north bit is quiet.
next best/ (not worst) is tenerefe, then gran canaria then futreventura(north side is nice but resorts are st).

and id recommend a private villa, if you do the flights it works out not that much more than a complex.

I was there last week. Low of 27dgC, high of 34dgC. I stayed in holiday bungalows but spent a couple of nights in Barbados Apartments, down the road from CC Yumbo, Playa del Ingles. Not bad at all. I've rebooked for february.

Yeah a villa's the way to go in Gran Canaria. Most are taken by Germans though.

Most of the resorts will be full of kids/scumbags/chavs! (sweeping generalisation I know but whatyagonnado?)

Maybe try some of the more expensive 5* hotels in Las Palmas?
