Meeting without coffee tomorrow - Redundancy Laws?
Discussion
Cockpiss. Today I found out that nobody from my team is being made redundant this time round (hurray)!
However, today the Mrs (who works for a large bank) was asked to attend a meeting tomorrow and is convinced she will to told she is going to be made redundant, which talking to her does seem likely given recent changes/moves etc.
So PH massive...
What is the process? She's only been there a year so we assume no payout?
Should there be a consultation period/process?
Will they have to offer her an alternative?
How will they decide who goes in her dept - is there a set process they need to follow, or is it just 'names out of a hat'?
Anything we need to look into so she goes in prepared tomorrow?
Thanks folks...

Or she could just try a 'Basic Instinct' and hope for the best...
Sorry, just a little gaglet. Mrs and I have both sailed close to the big R lately so know how stressful it can be. Best of luck to her!
