If there is one way to make me knuckle down and lose my unwanted 15 kg's its living in Torino. I bet only 1 in 20 blokes of middle age have a paunch compared to 1 in 5 in the UK?? 4 weeks in and feeling like a fat English bloke!
Walking around the shopping outlet halfway to Milano today shamed me. Mind you they are short...

biggrin

I'd love to be Italian.

Just loafing around sitting outside cafes and shouting "sexy sexy" at girls walking by. After you get bored you'd just preen off home for some home cooked food and watch your country do well in the footy or a Grand Prix.

Those buggers have got it made.

After living near Asti and working in Torino for over a year now, I can confirm that there are very few fat people here, and even the plain woman look very nice - and rubbish is removed daily, and we pay only €90 per year for our 'council tax'

(Although direct taxation is eye watering!)

First salary cheque today and yes although I was expecting it the tax is quite a bit higher than uk. But the roads are fing brilliant!! compared to UK. And a hospital in every town etc......

I could get to like it which is just as well as im hooked into this company for the next 5 years....
Went to an amazing place called eataly tonite - finest Italian food to buy and eat in a refurbished FIAT building. Harrods food hall X 5 times as big.

Stop it im trying to diet!

Why's he calling it Torino then? Is it because Torino is more posh?
