My girlfriend is doing a PhD and wants to visit the Imperial War Museum next week, I thought we'd combine it with a couple of nights in London.

Does anyone know any good deals on hotels at the moment? I usually use Lastminute but there is nothing spectacular on there at the moment.

Looking for 4* or 5*, Covent Garden, Mayfair, Piccadilly or Kensington for a couple of nights next week.

There are usually some great deals on Theatre/Hotel tickets. Why not take the GF to a show?

www.londontown.com does some great deals on 4* and 5* hotels. I have used them in the past and they have been great. Just make sure to print out your reservation confirmation and bring it with you on the night!

This place ise ace :

although I haven't stayed there as I live in London!

They have a 'Ryanair' style price system - peak nights expensive, other times cheap. Worth a try.

It's in just about the best area for bars restaurants etc as well.

I booked a "top secret" lastminute.com hotel for last weekend. It turned out to be the Radisson next to Warren Street tube. Cost £174 for 2 nights.
