Writing a company bio...
Discussion
for our website and wondering whether it might seem a bit crass to include details of my own and the other director's Uni degress etc.
I ordinarily wouldn't but they have at least some bearing on what we do professionally but there seems to be something a bit 'My first CV' about it all...
I should explain that this is for an 'About Us' page because feedback we have had thus far has been that 'who' we are has had as much relevance for some clients as the work we've done, and our current site doesn't give any personal sense of the people behind the business.
What do you think - worthwhile professional validation or cheesy and crass?

You could combine your credentials and just right in a general terms about your company.
"At Pilkington and sons we have 15 years of experience in the spectrum generator field..."
But better!
Never say "we", always the name of your company.
My tuppence worth.
ETA Thats pretty much what you have done on your website!
So, cheesy and Crass!

Yep - I'm inclined to agree. To be honest, if I doubt it sufficiently enough to ask the question, I probably already know the answer;)
Something vague about having the experience and credentials without going into detail is probably a better fit - people can always ask if they want to know more...
