Courier needed
Discussion
Can anyone recommend me a courier service? i need to send a parcel from residential address to residential address.
I used to use postvan.co.uk but they have disappeared. Looking for recommendations please as i dont know any others and don't really want to use parcel farce as they will undoubtedly lose/damage/steal my parcel or take weeks to deliver it.
If it helps it is to deliver computer parts weighing under 20kg from and to mainland uk addresses.

had stuff sent to me by city link, told the company of a specific day when would be in, no problem, except they never came and then tried to deliver for the next 2 days and was told that if I did not collect item on that friday it was going to be sent back to the owner
wasted 3 hours when was supposed to be working
as for DHL, when got my new PC, found that it had scuff marks and when took it apart found the internal chassis bent to such an extent that the drives had fallen out from their position
seems I was supposed to strip it down whilst the driver waited on the door, it looked ok on the outside and was chatting to a dhl driver who does work for my company from time to time, he admitted that they often had throw the parcel competitions at the depot and if a parcel got dropped, or bounced... too bad

Try Interparcel
http://www.interparcel.com/
They use DHL, UPS and Interlink depending on how fast you want it to get there and how much you want to pay.
They're effectively an agent but with better pricing than booking direct and I've used them a lot with great success. I've got accounts with FedEx/ANC, UPS and DHL but I often use Interlink to book and pay instead.

And STRONGLY recommend that you avoid the one mentioned there.
