Sony KDL-40W4500 & KDL-40W4720

What's the difference?

I have ordered the 4500 from my local TV store, but the sales guy says that there is a 4 weeks lead-time but he has the 4720 available and there is no difference. Can anyone confirm?

4720 is a grey import.

Ditch the Sony idea entirely and buy a Panasonic Plasma.

Seems to have been built for the Benelux nations.

Specs will be the same, check the warranty is the same and you'll be right, I'd suggest.

Plasma is still the superior technology mind you.
