The first season was very good, season 2 just didnt seem to be as good, I lost interest aftera couple of episodes. Didnt even know there was a season 3.

I saw it last night and it was poor. The doctors voice over monologues are taken to a new level of twaddle. The dead are ressurected (with no explanation) and you just get the feeling that the story is going to be recycled ad-infinitum.

I started watching series 1 and gave up during series 2.

This is just like Lost!

The only think that was Lost was the plot.

This type of series will just drone on forever with no real progress.

Poor? Thats your idea of poor? But then I'm onto episode 3 now (why does the UK have to be a week behind the states?).

Don't say that the dead have been resurrected. Yet. That guy was only visible to one person (ie. in the mind).

Have to admit that I tend to ignore the doctors monologues though.

There is a bigger story going on behind it all - how these people have come about in the first place. Sylar being related to 3 (oops, 4!) other characters in the show was a surprise. And Tracy isn't who everyone tends to think .... spoilers?

The first episode was very confusing. The 2nd helped clarify matters a little.

I enjoyed Episode 1 (BBC2) and Episode 2 (BBC3) last night.

Did anyone else thing that what appears to be happening to Mohinder (Suresh, aforementioned doctor) has been lifted straight out of the Jeff Goldblum version of The Fly? Right down to the strength, the larking around in the rafters, the hyperactivity, and the looking in the mirror and finding strange things growing on you?

Yeah, I was going "heeellllpppp meeeeeee" a la Fly too. Along with hoping the serum would give him the power of NOT doing rubbish voice overs. Turns out, it's given him the power of growing his own crisps instead.

The blond girl (Nikki the schziod who was killed) turns out to be one of triplets rather than twins (Nikki was schz due to her twin dieing) so she's not really alive again...

There does not seem to be mush of a story to Heroes, apart from saving the world, and they have done that 2 times already. Last night episode was crap, kill the Cheer leader, But she cannot die, a surprise NOT. And what with the Chinese guy who looks like he is taken a dump every-time he does a time warp.

Heroes Story line. Introduce new Actors with new powers every new Series, Make sure the world can be saved, dip in and out of history because we cannot think of anything original, Repeat for 10 new Series.

I thought it was quite good, much better than the last series, although Adam could've been a good character to keep in it rather than the usual "well, he's English so he's bound to be the bad guy".

Best programme on TV. Agree the 1st episode could have made a better start, but still good. That's my Wednesday night's viewing (or taping) sorted for the next 6 months anyway!

BTW - Lost is st wink
