I've always wondered what you do when your woman pulls out of a holiday, or you break up before one. Most people wouldn't want to go on their own, preferring to have some female companionship. But treating some random bint that you probably won't see again seems rather pointless.

A few years ago got dumped by GF day before planned trip to Amsterdam. We went anyway, since it was paid for, and had a surprising good time.

Bit awkward, but worth doing (well it was, she wasn't).
