Looking back could you have seen the warning signs?

As getting older so going to step the up the dating as would like to be married in early 30's, and it worried me that ive read posts from some bright intelligent people on here who seem to have got it very wrong.

So just curious if it was there but you chose to turn a blind eye or if the spouse genuinely changed?

It isn't about intelligence or analysis. It's not a business transaction. (Speaking from a Western culture viewpoint; things may be different from an arranged marriage perspective - you did mention muslim, earlier.)

PS men tend to ignore things when women complain about X, Y and Z right up until the bitter end... so forget warning signs, you get blatant complaints and still you do nothing. And you can only prove you've had a successful marriage when one of you is dead, otherwise, it's still a marriage waiting to be a divorce!
