I am a tw4t

About three weeks ago I ran a training session at a clients site. Took and unloaded all my own kit as usual but they insisted I use their roof mounted projector which was rubbish but I smiled and got on with it.

Came to use my own projector tonight and I think I have left it in their training room having popped it to one side when they wanted me to use the built in system.

I could kick myself for being such a chump and not remembering I had taken it in, and kick them because no doubt they have found it and couldn't be bothered to try and track down who it belonged to (my businesscard is in the window under the flap).

It is their internal training facility used almost exclusively by their own trainers so I am hoping it is still sat in a corner.

Luckily I have an old steam driven Sanyo I keep because I am a serial chump.

This thread would look better in the form of a powerpoint presentation.

This thread would look better printed out and tucked away in a drawer.

You mean printed off then left on the side ready to take home at the end of the day?

I think the reason you are a tw4t is more to do with the use of the word 'chump' laugh

Hope you get your projector back though!

Went to this company on Friday. Used their training room and I found this great little projector tucked in the corner. Obviously some chump had left it there as it wasn't theirs. So I had it away.

Cheers smile

I went into our training room the other day and found 12 brand new IMac's just sitting in boxes.... I could have had one away and I don't think anyone would have been the wiser...

I didn't of course.... but surprises me that £20k worth of Computers are just sitting there idle..

I did something similar. Went to a customer seminar and the hosts wanted all presentations on their laptop so there wasnt a slowdown while presenters hooked laptops up.

Put my presentation onto a USB stick, put the laptop back in the bag and stashed it in the corner of the room. Left after lunch and got most of the way up the M40 before I realised.

They were quite good about it, and couriered it to my office. I didnt think to tell them I work from home and our office is further away from me than their conference suite, but it's the thought that counts.

Looks like it is AWOL and not coming back. Thing is, it was a police training school! They have suggested I report it as 'lost'.
