Let's just say they rhyme with sh-tty link...

I'm expecting something to be delivered so get home expecting a parcel with the neighbour or a card through the door. Neither is present.

I look on the tracking site and it says delivery was attempted and as no one was in they left a card. NOT A MY fkING HOUSE YOU DIDN'T!

Useless fktards.

I've had trouble with these jokers, too. Once, I was sat in my living room awaiting the delivery at the time they claimed to have carded my door. Another time they didn't leave a card, returned the consignment to the sender and denied all knowledge of it.

I was p-ed off enough to write a formal letter of complaint to them. Never even got an acknowledgement.

You need to complain to the supplier, they're the couriers customer not you. The only way these companies will get better if suppliers stop using them in light of complaints from their customers.

Not feasible to have it delivered elsewhere unfortunately. Normally our neighbours are in and will take parcels for us.

It's made worse by the fact that there are only 3 houses in our postcode, all next to each other with nice clear numbers!

I'll be on to both the courier and supplier first thing in the morning.

They are an awful company.

I once caught one of their ahole drivers come up to our door (no cars on the drive, I was expecting a delivery) and just slide the card through the letterbox without knocking. Needless to say I went outside and gave him a piece of my mind.

They are st, I have never had a good exp with them. Plus I knew loads of people that nicked stuff from the depots, so they employ pikeys aswell as idiots.

They lost a parcel for me a few weeks back.

Tiny box? No

Medium size box? No

A ruddy great custom made propshaft? Yes

How they can lose it I don't know, but at least they paid up for another one.

Generally had crappy experiences with them, but there was a top bloke down here who delivered for me a few times.
He would stop by in the afternoon because he knew most people weren't around in the morning! thumbup
Saved me countless journeys to the depot.

Why would they take all the trouble to carry a card to your door and not the parcel knowing he will have to make an extra trip the next day?

Exactly what I asked him "I didn't think you were in" was all I got before I grabbed the parcel and slammed the door. Without signing for it.

Except they're all the same! Over the years I've tried pretty much all of them (we may be testing Home Delivery Net) next year. Royal Mail Special tends to be the most reliable, but very expensive over 2kg.

I'm not sure if this particular company still do it, but they used to offer double refunds for failed deliveries. Although if they claimed to have "attempted" delivery then you may get nowhere. I've found talking to the depot manager often helps, if you can get hold of them.

I had a digital picture frame delivered by the ones in the yellow and red vans. Clearly marked 'fragile- electrical goods' complete with the words 'Digital picture frame' It was left outside my back gate in full view, in a downpour for four hours.nono

For lost goods, (different courier) at work we sent an aircraft undercarriage leg in a large wooden NATO style crate 40 miles... it never got there. rolleyes

Well, it gets better!

After an argument with the gimp they let answer the phone first thing this morning, with her trying to tell me that he definitely carded my house. They told me I would have to wait a few days for the driver to cover my area again!
I spoke to the supplier and they chased them. They then manage to get it on a van for today.

So I get MrsR to stay in all day (much to her disgust!) and now at 6pm it still isn't here. I've called them to have the gimp tell me they have been round and carded us again... errr, no, you haven't!

It's ended up with the depot manager promising to bring it round personally by 8pm tonight.

Option A. The driver is lying.

Option B. He is going to the wrong address.

Depends if you like stress or not. Everyone knows someone who works in a place with a reception.

The woman just fed me a total pack of lies. My guess is he couldn't find it (even though he apparently uses sat nav!) so just said he carded up and f'ked off!
