Just wondering how people came across PH. I found it by accident a couple of years ago when I was thinking of buying a TVR wedge and most of the cars for sale were in the classifieds.

Many moons ago, Fifth Gear had a Lotus Espirit they tried to get to 200mph. They went to a Vmax event, whose website forum is a PH one.

I got a decent car, met local East Anglian PHers, and have now been avid contributor both on the website and in the "rear world" thumbup

From the TVRCC website shortly after buying my Griff. I asked questions on the TVRCC forum, tumbleweed blew around for a bit and then someone kindly pointed me in this direction, as that's where all the action was...

I joined an email list for TVR owners, hosted by Domino, which through a sequence of events I can't quite remember, migrated to something briefly called PetrolHeads, which then became PistonHeads.

It was all a very, very long time ago....

I bought a TVR, it developed a fault after 2 days.

I googled it.

That was that.

I was involved with something else, and had to send out a mass email to people that had signed a petition, one of the email recipients was a member here and and emailed me back asking for permission to put the details of the email on here. I agreed and thought nothing of it. He did send me an email back with the link.

About a year later, I was going through some old emails and came across the one I had been sent, so I came over and had a nosy, and sort of never managed to get back out again
