Falling off the Grid.

So is it possible to fall off the grid and still have some sort of life.
How would you go about it?
Where would you start trying to become a non person and dissapear of their systems?
Obviously flogging the house and paying cash for everything is a start....is ther anything you just couldnt do anonymously?

simple become a pikey.

Once you are "on thier systems" there isnt really any getting off again, you cant de-register your NI number for example, unless you declare yourself dead I suppose.

I did it in 1989, sold everything, packed in work, took off overseas, never came back until 1996. I was most definitely 'off the grid' for a few years.

I would love to delve into this, but I can tell you this. Off the grid is a dangerous thing, integrating back to the masses if it failed would be devastating.

You will have to change your entire way of thinking, I mean an entire revamp of your programmed mind. And be prepared to be lonely, because once you know too much you will never look at your loved ones (mom/dad, brother/sister, girlfriend/wife, kids etc) the same ever again, and you can never reverse the truth...

I say that with all seriousness, I stay away from it because its too late for me and many others. Too late to think. Too late to dream. Too late to successfully inegrate off the grid without becoming seriously, mentally demolished.

PDV - No experience in actually going off the grid, but sometimes, when I really step back and look at what life is, in America, in NY, in general, it scares me to be so absent of other things, things that really matter. All this stuff we dont need, on top of working a job, so many hours of your life wasted on insigifnicance. Dont you wish you could just get away from it all, live simple, and happy?

sounds like you met someone at an early age that had a very profound influence on your life prior to, and as you developed into adulthood, yes/no?
