Cheap spectacles on the internet?
Discussion
Got a pair from www.speckyfoureyes.com took about three weeks to arrive (probably from some sweat shop in China) but were good value and do the job.

"Full rimmed for £12". You can't argue with that.

Yep! happy with the pair I got from them.Which type?
Personally I would get designer/branded ones, not to look flash, but you can go into the high street, try them on etc and if they are good for you, purchase them off the internet.
I saved £100 by going into vision express trying some hugo boss glasses, and buying them from coolframes on the internet.

The last time I looked at ordering some, there were lots of numbers / measurements that weren't on the prescription.
How'd you get around that?
I would also like to know, is there a PH backstreet optometrist who wont make me buy their crappy glasses.?How'd you get around that?

The margins are spectacles are insane - apparently those £100 "designer" frames actually cost about £2.Personally I would get designer/branded ones, not to look flash, but you can go into the high street, try them on etc and if they are good for you, purchase them off the internet.

And you tell lenses (even complicated ones) cost next to nothing as there's never an issue if they're wrong - they just order more. That's the reason I wouldn't buy online though.
