That'll be because I work for a living then, lovely.

£12,679.59 or £243.17 weekly. Equivalent to someone earning £16.5k before tax...

That's for me, no job, 3 kids, no disabilities. If I say my kids and me are disabled (me - depressed, kids - ADHD) i'm sure I could push it to £20k.

Interesting. It tells me that a weekly income based on £100,000 savings would be £376. Sure, because it's common for savings accounts to pay 20% interest... confused

My household is entitled to f*ck all.

I'm just going to nip to the bosses office and hand my notice in.

put in that you rent your place rather than have a mortgage / own it - makes it even more fun. Colleague of mine would be entitled to £762 per week but would have to contribute a whole £6 a week towards the rent.

Total Entitlements £72,578.50 or £1,391.92 weekly.

I may have been somewhat economical with the truth

23k per year, and that included me saying I was earning £60 per week (Rent from kids)

I would probably be repossed though, they only cover interest payments on a mortgage up to 100k and the interest is only payable after 39 weeks on income support!

Why do they ask whether you're a fireman or a member of the TA? Does that make a difference?

If my wife would make a claim for her illness, (ME) we'd be entitled to the following :

Council Tax Benefit

Carers Allowance

Attendance Allowance Info

Disability Living Allowance and Incapacity Benefit

Disabled Facilities Grant

Home Improvements Grants

Discretionary Housing Payment

BUT she won't.

Now that is boiling my piss.

Thing is we are all complaining about this but we have chosen to work and live where we decide. I wouldn't like to live where they put these benefit cheating work shy theiving dole scum layabouts. Also I would like to have something to leave my family (When I get one and when I pass away).

I don't however like my tax to be used to rescue banks that have ballsed up their business or being used to feed and house this scum.

If I thought for one second that a different political party would be doning anything else with my tax then I would not only be voting but standing for election.

What did I do wrong? Only £454 per week with 4 disabled kids. That's terrible. Maybe I shouldn't have said that I work.

That may have rung true in the past, but nowadays you are just as likely to find them living in destroying a large detached property in a desirable area as a run down sink hole.

Quite. Tower Hamlets council have moved a family of scum into a house on my road. £600k worth.

The local shopkeeper has already caught the kids stealing three times.
