How do you change their ways?

My little sister is more concenrned about making herself look nice than keeping her flat tidy.

Unfortunately, she may have to stay with me for a few weeks.

As a result, I am anticipating my flat looking like a war zone.

How do you change their ways. ie. Leaving unwashed plates, leaving things everywhere.

Any Ideas?

Cook her a nice meal and serve it on an (obviously) unwashed plate with unwashed cutlery if she steps out of line.

Collect up all the stuff she fails to tidy / put away and dump it on her bed.

There are many ways to deal with this situation but before I give what I consider to be the best solution I think a picture of your little sister would help

I'll look after her for a bit. Send her over.

Well, when she arrives, DON'T say, "Come in, make yourself at home..."

I'll look after her for a bit and bend her over.

You see my generation were brought up on the Wombles. Tidy propaganda beamed into our impressionable young heads, so that in later life we would be tidy. It was my wife's favourite programme and she's VERY VERY tidy.

Personally, I preferred Chorlton and the Wheelies, which explains my love of cars and Goth girls - and if they live in a kettle even better cloud9.

Do many Goth girls live in kettles? I know some guys are quite picky about their girlfriends but you may be pushing it too far.

any of YOUR stuff that is left lying around, put in the room she is in, where it will be in the way.

Any of HER stuff, put in a black bin liner, where it is OUT of the way, but visible.

Tell her beforehand that you will do this.
