The (rural Dorset) hills are alive with the sound of fighter planes.....

Normally I might hear one or two a day but since 9.00am I've honestly lost count (at least forty different passes and counting)....
Does anyone here know WTF is occuring....?
Has the mother ship finally turned up (problems with the satnav, mate).....?

Exercise Joint Warrior was on until today.

You might be seeing Exercise Fast Mover which ends today.

They are both more in Wales though, but you may get A/C transiting overhead I guess.

Whereabouts in Dorset are you? It always used to be quite busy (back in the day - Buccaneers, Vulcans, Jags) with a low-level route running up from Poole Bay, Lytchett Bay and out towards Blandford.
